JewMahj.com
A short name with deep community roots. ποΈ
JewMahj.com is a short name for a community-centered mah jongg project. The American game owes much to Jewish women, who founded the National Mah Jongg League in 1937.[1]
ποΈ Dignity and history
The Museum of Jewish Heritage honored the game's place in Jewish-American life with its Project Mah Jongg exhibition.[4] Any brand on this name should be led by, or built with, the community it describes, with a warm and respectful tone.
The League's early card spread as players took it to the Catskills and Miami.[1]
π€ A note on respect
This page presents mah jongg's documented history in American Jewish communities, with sources. Xela Domains is not affiliated with any museum, federation, congregation or the National Mah Jongg League. We ask any buyer to use this name with warmth and respect, ideally with community partners.
